Best of '60s Bluegrass

By the end of the ‘60s, bluegrass was its own genre and no longer a subset of country or folk. The decade provided fertile ground for this organic growth: veterans like Bill Monroe and The Stanley Brothers inspired incoming generations; new and skilled instrumentalists like Doc Watson dazzled with their speed; and bluegrass festivals became popular audience-building showcases for all.
