Editors’ Notes As far as bluesy, British rock supergroups go, few are as formidable as Bad Company, thanks to an original core of former Free mates vocalist Paul Rodgers and drummer Simon Kirke, Mott the Hoople guitarist Mick Ralphs, and King Crimson bassist Boz Burrell. The group's self-titled debut in 1974 marked the first release on Led Zeppelin's Swan Song label and kicked off an unstoppable streak of blockbuster hits through Rodgers' departure in 1982. Personnel have since shuffled and Burrell's 2006 passing makes an entire reunion impossible, but the band remains one of classic rock's most celebrated.
