Editors’ Notes Ariel Pink's absurdist pop sensibility can be traced back to rock's original Dadaist, Frank Zappa, and on through ‘80s lo-fi savants like Daniel Johnston and modern-day psychedelic surrealists (and mentors) Animal Collective.
