Anya Taylor-Joy: My Lucky Playlist

In the Apple Original series Lucky, Anya Taylor-Joy stars as a woman on the run after a heist goes sideways. And like any run, it needed the perfect playlist. “This is a selection of songs we had on loop in the makeup trailer that inspired the show and kept all of us on the run,” Taylor-Joy says. From Fiona Apple (“The fact that she did our opening credit song still thrills me”) and Charlotte Gainsbourg (“The combination of her voice and these dirty guitars tapped straight into the Lucky vein”) to Weyes Blood (“It felt good to get lost in the synths while shooting in the freezing desert”) and The Mamas & The Papas (“Good for when the sun comes up”), these songs were Taylor-Joy’s personal on-set soundtrack.
