Lana Del Rey fans have been waiting a long time for “Say Yes to Heaven,” the song that headlines Antidote this week. Thought to have been made when the singer-songwriter was crafting her second major-label album, 2014’s Ultraviolence, the track leaked online in 2016, with subsequent versions emerging over the years before it was finally, officially released this month (alongside a sped-up version). And it’s beautiful: as melancholically romantic as you’d expect from a Del Rey track, with gentle horns, strings, rumbling drums, ethereal vocals, and, of course, a reference to putting on her red dress. “I’ve got my eye on you,” she sings. “Say yes to heaven/Say yes to me.” Elsewhere on Antidote this week, look out for new music from CMAT and The Mysterines. Like all the artists featured, Antidote is always evolving—so keep checking back, and if you hear something you like, add it to your library.
