Verve

About

There is no single record label that has introduced more people to jazz than Verve. Founded in 1956 by Norman Granz in order to create a fair and just label home for Ella Fitzgerald, Verve has become home to some of the most pioneering acts in music, including Ella, Billie Holiday, and Louis Armstrong. Today, the label continues this rich legacy with artists such as Jon Batiste, Diana Krall, and Harry Connick, Jr. (From the label)
