Zambri

Experimental electro-pop outfit Zambri is the project of Cristi Jo and Jessica Zambri, sisters who began making music together while they were children. The pair's music first drew a buzz in 2009, when an early lineup of the band released the Bang for Changes EP. During most of 2010, Jessica and Cristi Jo reworked the band's sound and lineup, adding drummer Seth Kasper and multi-instrumentalist Will Spitz for live shows. Late in 2011, another EP, Glossolalia, arrived, bringing with it a more avant-garde approach that continued with Zambri's full-length debut, House of Baasa. ~ Heather Phares
