About Young and Heartless

Pennsylvania four-piece Young and Heartless were formed in 2011 by singer/guitarist Jeremy Henninger, guitarist Bryan Tricarico, bassist Britain Weyant, and drummer Jake Lepley. Born out of Harrisburg's hardcore/pop-punk scene, the band's blend of moody introspection and tense indie rock has drawn comparisons to acts like Brand New and Balance & Composure. A pair of EPs in 2012 and 2013 paved the way for their full-length debut, The Pull of Gravity, which arrived in 2014. The album's critical reception was enough to draw interest from veteran pop-punk label Hopeless Records, who signed Young and Heartless and reissued their debut in 2015. Stay Away, their follow-up and first new release for Hopeless, arrived in March 2016. ~ Timothy Monger
