In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Riding around in the car with my mom in New York as a kid she'd play so much music I'd have all the lyrics memorized singing along to Nas, Jay Z, and Mary J Blige. As soon as I was able to write I started writing raps. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Cash Kidd, No Socks 2 Kendrick Lamar, To Pimp a Butterfly Nas, Stillmatic No Socks 2 introduced me to Cash Kidd and inspired my artistry. This album really helped me develop my sound as an artist. To pimp a butterfly is arguably the best Kendrick Lamar album & One Mic on Nas Stillmatic made me fall in love with hip-hop. Tell us why you chose this song. “No Hook” When Chan Will and I made this song we both wrote individual verses and went back to back while recording. It was special because this one of our first songs we did together before he passed and the vibe and energy in the studio was amazing. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable moment in my career so far was performing on stage opening up for Boosie in Abilene Tx, we had a sold out show and it was my first time performing my own songs in front of a large crowd. Thats when I knew this is what I wanted to do Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Only thing left on my bucket list is to do a song with Cash Kidd
