Kid Cudi, Man On the Moon III: The Chosen Kid Cudi, Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin' The Weeknd, Trilogy These artists influenced my life the most. Kid Cudi saved me from life's darkest moments, and The Weeknd basically wrote the soundtrack for those moments. Tell us why you chose this song. “Pins and Needles (Reference)” Pins and Needles was the first song I wrote where I remember being in a flurry of rage. The song poured out of me like a faucet on full blast. It was the fastest song I ever wrote, I recorded it the same day. I still love this song to this day.
