In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I made a low quality demo of a song I wrote as a kid and managed to get it played on a small local radio station. Hearing my song on that station late that night blew my mind and I knew that was going to my my life. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Magnus Deus, Deus Magnus Moby, This Wild Darkness (Luttrell & Maor Levi Remixes) - Single The Birthday Massacre, Walking With Strangers It's rare for music to remove me from myself and sooth my chaotic thoughts but these tracks/albums do. I can't really explain it other than this is what the truest part of me feels and hears when I'm able to cut through the noise of my life. Tell us why you chose this song. “Stay With Me Now” This song hits me really hard simply because it was a goodbye to someone I lost. A song could never capture who this person was to me during their life, to my own reality, but this was the closest I ever came to capturing those feelings in a song. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? There are a lot of milestones I am grateful to have hit but getting my first gold record for a collaborative project I was on was pretty amazing. Another would probably be walking around by myself eating chocolate in the rain while in Paris on tour. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Grammy Award.... then I'll unlock the bonus bucket list.
