Watchmen

One of the Wu-Tang Clan’s “affiliate groups,” the Florida-based Watchmen formed when leader BlackMask conceptualized a group reminiscent of the Wu. After recruiting rappers 7th Sign, Prox, the Cipher, plus Pro, and hooking up with manager John “Mook” Gibbons -- who also happens to be Wu-Leader RZA’s cousin -- the group released their single "Banga" and partnered with unofficial Wu member Cappadonna for the single “Assassins.” Both were released in 2010 along with their debut album, Wu-Tang Management Presents: Watchmen. ~ David Jeffries
