In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. DJ Alkemy: My cousin was a B-boy, who introduced me to Hip-Hop culture. He used to look after me when my parents went out on weekends, and brought his whole B-boy crew to the house to practise. That's where I first heard electro and Hip-Hop music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Gil Scott-Heron, Pieces of a Man Public Enemy, It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back Tracy Chapman, Tracy Chapman We are always drawn to music with a political edge. DJ Jabbathakut)” It's the start of a new dawn/sound for Wasp-18b. We have 3 more albums all finished, and ready to release over the coming 12 months, and this is a good taste of what's to come. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting our track "Hunting" banned from the Nike website for being "too political", a few months before they got affiliated with the BLM movement. Hmmmmm. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There is no bucket list. We make music because it's a necessity to us.
