About Volo

Based in Paris, French pop group Volo is led by singer/guitarist brothers Frédéric Volovitch and Olivier Volovitch, originally from the region of Tours, France. Frédéric began his recording career with the humorous and theatrical chanson group Les Wriggles before co-founding Volo with Olivier, plus a backing band comprised of Hugues Barbet (guitar), Theo Girard (bass), and Enrico Mattioli (drums). Volo debuted in 2005 with Bien Zarbos on the Opera Music label, followed by Blancs Manteaux à Volo in 2006, Jours Heureux in 2007, and the three-song Bref EP in 2008. Volo's next album, En Attendant (2009), was their most successful to date, spawning the singles "Dimanche" and "Réguler" and breaking into the Top 100 of the French albums chart. ~ Jason Birchmeier
