A seasoned and punishing heavy metal trio featuring former members of British black metal pioneers Venom, Venom Inc. came into existence in 2015 when Jeff "Mantas" Dunn and Tony "Demolition" Dolan were joined on-stage at that year's Keep It True Festival in Lauda-Königshofen, Germany, by Anthony "Abaddon" Bray for an impromptu set of Venom classics. The success of the reunion prompted the trio to head into the studio together. Two years later, Venom Inc. inked a deal with Nuclear Blast, resulting in the release of 2017's Avé. Bray left the fold the following year and was replaced by drummer Jeramie "Warmachine" Kling, who made his studio debut on the band's uncompromising sophomore effort, 2022's There's Only Black.
