About Tyson Pete
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories came from a place of survival, not perfection. Music became my outlet, the one space where I could release everything I didn’t yet have the words to say. That’s where my sound was born… in truth and in feelings What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill Solo Sounds, Stevie Wonder Songs in the Key of Life: Solo Cello (feat. Trevor Exter) USHER, Confessions (Expanded Edition) The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill taught me how to be honest in my music. Confessions by Usher showed me how to tell a story unapologetically, and Songs in the Key of Life by Stevie Wonder reminded me that music is timeless and intentional. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “One Day” “One Day” is special to me because it came from a real place in my life, I wasn’t performing, I was releasing. It’s one of those records where you hear the growth, the pain, and the hope all in one. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments of my career so far has been seeing my story resonate with people in real time. Knowing that something I created from pain could help someone else feel seen and understood, that’s bigger than any award or stage. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There’s always more to do. I want to tour the world, win a Grammy, and continue building something that outlives me. For me, it’s not just about music, it’s about legacy.
