Back then, I set only 2 goals for myself: To get a record deal and perform on a major tour. I achieved the 1st goal when I was 19 years old. A year later, I was touring the U.S. with Destiny's Child. Justin Timberlake, Justified TLC, CrazySexyCool USHER, 8701 These artists and albums were my influences growing up. There's only one artist I put above them and that's the greatest entertainer of all time. Tell us why you chose this song. “Middle of Nowhere” Shortly after releasing Middle of Nowhere, I lost my father to pancreatic cancer. I remember listening to it on repeat when I left the hospital, just hours after he passed away. It was truly therapeutic and will forever be my most meaningful song.
