Best known for his stints on TV series like grown-ish, singer, songwriter, and actor Trevor Jackson has released a string of modern R&B records featuring artists like Lil Yachty and B.o.B. • The Indianapolis native got his big break playing Young Simba in the Broadway National Tour of The Lion King. • He soon made the jump to television, appearing on series like Eureka, Criminal Minds, and American Crime, plus the 2012 Disney Channel movie Let It Shine. • Jackson’s 2013 debut EP, #NEWTHANG, includes a remix of his song “Drop It,” featuring B.o.B. • Rapper Kevin Gates guests on “Bang Bang,” off Jackson’s 2015 mixtape In My Feelings. • In 2018, Jackson returned with the project Rough Drafts, Pt. 1.
