About Treeland

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first experience listening to music was riding in the car with my parents listening to the radio. I was a big fan of Outkast, Ludacris, Trick Daddy, and Eminem. I even remember going to Sam Goody with my older cousin "Chop" to cop "All Eyes On Me" What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jeezy, Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101 (Deluxe Edition) OutKast, Big Boi & Dre Present... OutKast Wiz Khalifa, Kush & Orange Juice These albums explain every "Mude" I experience. The Outkast album would get played all the time when I was growing up. They are my favorite group of all time, no debate. TM101 is a classic and a Forever Vibe. Kush & OJ is the best "CHILL" music. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Alma Mater” I love this song because of the vibe and the lyrics. I love the cadence and the use of metaphors on this track. I referenced a lot of activities I do locally and even referenced some classic songs within the track. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being chosen to perform at SXSW for Bun B and Scotty ATL is definitely memorable. Also opening up for Jose Guapo some years ago is definitely a highlight as well. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would like to perform at every BIG festival, to experience the cultures from every city. I would also like to perform internationally and attend some award shows.
