About Traviezoz de la Zierra

Traviezoz de la Zierra is a sierreño quartet that performs hardcore narcocorridos along with more romantic ballads. ∙ Formed in Nogales, Mexico, in 2009, the band spent several years playing at private events and small clubs before releasing their own recordings of original material. ∙ Both their debut album, Así es Mi Cartel, and the follow-up, Plan B, earned regional radio airplay in Mexico and Southern California in 2013. ∙ Traviezoz de la Zierra was nominated for Sierreño Group of the Year at the 2014 Premios de la Radio Awards, which recognize the best in Regional Mexican music. ∙ Their LP Los Días de Ayer rose into the Top 20 of Billboard’s Regional Mexican Albums chart in 2015. ∙ In 2016, the group founded their own label, TDLZ Records, releasing such popular albums as 2017’s Mejor Hay Nos Vidrios and 2019’s Solo Contra el Mundo. ∙ Three of their 2019 singles featured high-powered guest stars—“Yo Que Tu” with Miguel y Miguel, “Hasta la Fecha” with La Séptima Banda, and “Que Nuevas” with Pancho Uresti.
