I came of age in the era of vinyl, and I remember my brothers and I listening to Glen Campbell’s single, “Rhinestone Cowboy” among others. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? R.E.M., Murmur The Velvet Underground, The Velvet Underground my bloody valentine, Loveless These are my three “desert island” albums. Not only are they intricate, nuanced, and inventive, they function well as complete works when listened to, from start to finish. Tell us why you chose this song. “Ghost Tree” This song has been kicking around in my head for around 40 years, but until the pandemic, I’d never sat down to try to capture it and structure it into something that I would want to share. It captures my world view in an artistic, non-preachy way.
