In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest music memories involve listening to Walter Hawkins and Tramaine Hawkins records with my family. My sister and I used to learn to sing the harmonies together. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Take 6, Take 6 Tramaine Hawkins, Gospel Legacy: Tramaine Hawkins Yolanda Adams, The Best of Yolanda Adams Tramaine Hawkins' music is the music of my childhood. I love how she told stories vocally. Yolanda Adams' music was my college soundtrack. Take 6 has amazing harmonies and inspired me to join an a capella group. Tell us why you chose this song. “Strength To Soar (Unplugged)” Strength To Soar is a song I wrote while I was deep in grief after the deaths of several loved ones. In that time, I had stopped moving forward because I was in so much pain. Writing Strength To Soar started my healing journey. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When I sang Always Amazing live at a concert in my home church, it was a dream come true. The concert was the day after it was released and the crowd absolutely loved it! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to go on a summer tour and visit various churches and venues. I want to share the love of Jesus and shine the light of Jesus everywhere I go.
