In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is playing the cello while rolling around on Heelys, the shoes with wheels. Even then, music and movement felt naturally connected to me. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Dream Theater, A Dramatic Turn of Events Edoardo Bennato, L'isola Che Non C'è Rancore, Musica per bambini My three all-time favorites are Edoardo Bennato’s L’isola che non c’è, tied to childhood car rides with my father, and Rancore’s Musica per bambini, which captured my heart. Dream Theater’s A Dramatic Turn of Events defined my prog years. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Nemoris” I wrote Nemoris during the hardest period of my life, when I could not show what I was going through. Its darkness is not dramatic, but tense and subterranean: a quiet pressure rising from below. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? On March 4, 2013, I performed in Bologna’s Piazza Maggiore at the concert honoring Lucio Dalla, one year after his death. Sharing the stage with major Italian artists in the heart of my city remains unforgettable. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My biggest artistic goal is to take my own project on a world tour. I want to bring my contemporary language for cello, electronics and audiovisual storytelling to audiences across different countries and cultures.
