Tim & The Glory Boys

With a rootsy sound that combines folk, country, bluegrass, and more than a little gospel, Tim & The Glory Boys create uplifting, down-home tunes with the high energy of a hoedown. Formed in 2013 in Abbotsford, British Columbia by songwriter Tim Neufeld, the band originally found their footing in the Christian music world on albums like 2014’s The Joy and 2016’s Hootenanny!, but in the years since, they’ve moved toward a more contemporary and secular bluegrass sound. In 2020, they released a series of infectious singles, celebrating the wonder of true love on the triumphant “When You Know You Know,” praising a partner on the bouncy “Without a Prayer,” and making memories with a sweetheart on “Right Back Atcha.” In 2021, they traded in the jubilance and got a little heavier for the poignant, string-swept ode “Me Without You.”
