In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was about 12 when I first heard Jimi Hendrix. I thought it was some kind of magical space music. Still do. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beastie Boys, Paul's Boutique (20th Anniversary Remastered Edition)[Bonus B-Boy Bouillabaisse] John Coltrane, A Love Supreme Talk Talk, Spirit of Eden Top 3 a ll-time favorites is impossible. Tell us why you chose this song. “Celestial Blues” This is the 11th song on 'Blue Light After Party which follows the fictitious Blue Light band to a post-gig after party. All sounds performed by Bob Smith. "Celestial Blues" written and composed by Andy Bey, who recorded it with Gary Bartz Ntu Troop. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? There have been a few. I've been very lucky. There was one magical moment that stands out. In 2008 on stage at Asgaard Farm in VT, I led a group of about 20 musician on a fabulous cover of Bob Dylan's "I Shall Be Released" to a 1500+ outdoor crowd. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I don't really set goals. I just continue forward. Always learning. Always growing.
