In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was at Rockygrass in 2018 watching The David Grisman Quintet Reunion Show featuring my mentor Wyatt Rice, I couldn't believe what I saw & heard. Seeing that concert and hanging with those musicians inspired everything The NAC has done since. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Camarón de la Isla, Viviré (Remastered 2018) [feat. Paco de Lucía & Tomatito] David Grisman Quintet, The David Grisman Quintet David Grisman, Dawg '90 These 3 records really inspired The NAC's music. When I first heard The David Grisman Quintet and Dawg 90 I couldn't believe my ears. I went on a long search which I am still on to discover "Dawg Music". "Viviré" by Camaron was the same way! Tell us why you chose this song. “Aptos” I am inspired by my band members playing but more so their knack for writing hip original music inspired by some of my favorite musicians including Tony Rice, David Grisman and John Coltrane. "Aptos" by Elijah Chen really shows these influences here! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Recording and working with some of our hero's including Wyatt Rice and Jim Kerwin of The David Grisman Quintet is definitely at the top of our list! Performing at The Grey Eagle in Asheville NC where The Tony Rice Unit played is at the top too! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We would love to perform our New Acoustic music at venues like The Grand Ole Opry, jazz clubs across the U.S., internationally and more! Continuing to work with the legends in the industry that we look up to is always another big goal of ours!
