In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My mom used to play 50's music very loud every Saturday while doing chores around the house. She introduced me to Rock n Roll and to all the earliest artists. I thought every kid listened to loud Rock N. Roll on Saturdays, after cartoons, of course. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? John Hiatt, Stolen Moments John Prine, The Missing Years Wilco, A Ghost Is Born All three of these albums have certain songs that tell stories and paint pictures of another reality, and they take me to this place effortlessly and with wonder and endearment. Tell us why you chose this song. “Blue Umbrella” This has always been one of my favourite John Prine songs, so it felt right to do as my first cover. I gave it a fresh new feel, more upbeat, while still honouring the lyrics and original melodies. I hope other JP fans like it as much as I do.
