The Moonlandingz

The Moonlandingz began as a fictional outer space rockabilly band on the Eccentronic Research Council's Johnny Rocket, Narcissist & Music Machine...I'm Your Biggest Fan (2015). The ERC needed someone to play the band so they brought in Saul Adamczewski and Lias Saoudi of Fat White Family to help, and recorded an EP to go along with the album. The Moonlandingz then became a real band with the ERC's Adrian Flanagan and Dean Honer writing the music, Flanagan and Saoudi taking care of lyrics and vocals, and Adamczewski adding guitars. After they brought in more musicians and guests, including Yoko Ono and the Human League's Phillip Oakey, the Moonlandingz completed Interplanetary Class Classics (2017). ~ Tim Sendra
