In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I (Tyler) tried out for a gig through our school. When the tryout was over, the judges didn't seem impressed, until I told them Kelsie would be singing with me (unbeknownst to her). That name drop was the beginning of a life of making music together. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jason Mraz, Look For the Good John Mayer, Continuum The Beatles, Abbey Road (Remastered) The level of writing and thought on all of these albums is of the highest caliber. Likewise, the level of musicianship and creativity is inspiring. And we want more people to look at the world through the lens of hope that Jason Mraz does. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Best Friend” We love this song; because, it's fun and flirty and full of life. The full big-band-horn-section makes it feel like something is worth celebrating! We also love Kelsie's vocal vamping before the bridge and the ripping guitar and sax in the outro! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? After years of infertility, we finally got pregnant, only to go into early labor. Our daughter was born weighing 1 lb 13oz. So, it will be hard to top releasing our debut single on our daughter's first birthday, with her voice on the track! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We would love to share the stage with John Mayer or Jason Mraz. They have provided much of the soundtrack for our lives as individuals and as a family.
