About The Bobby Fuller Four

In the mid-1960s, Texas rocker Bobby Fulller championed the old-school rock-&-roll values of artists like Buddy Holly and Eddie Cochran. His group, the Bobby Fuller Four, began working regionally in Texas in the early '60s, with Fuller's brother Randy being the only other constant member. After moving to L.A., the band scored three hits in '65 and '66, "Let Her Dance," the classic "I Fought the Law," and a cover of Holly's "Love's Made a Fool of You." Randy briefly led the band after his brother's untimely death, but soon went on to play with ex-Buffalo Springfield drummer Dewey Martin in a succession of groups including Blue Mountain Eagle and Medicine Ball.
