In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was about 6 years old, I remember being in my brother's bedroom, standing on his bed while singing along to 'Shake It Off' by Mariah Carey. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? BANKS, Goddess (Deluxe Version) FKA twigs, LP1 Lana Del Rey, Norman F*****g Rockwell! I chose these three albums because I discovered all of them in very definitive and explorative parts of my life. I listened to LP1 & Goddess when I was 14 and I think they helped show me what music can actually do for you as a human. I chose '18' because I wrote it about a really dark time in my life and felt really alone. It was such a passion project of mine and I got to work on it with it with so many people I trust, including Phillip Peterson, who's worked with LDR & Lorde. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I got one of my songs played on KEXP. It was when I released my debut album 'Ugly', and they played my song 'You'. It was a really full circle moment for me because I've listened to them growing up. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I think I have a lot of things left on my bucket list. Some are maybe being included in an Apple Music editorial playlist, or performing outside of Seattle.
