In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest music memory was playing the piano around age 5. I would sing duets with my mother at home who has a great voice. I had a strong passion for love songs at an early age. I somehow understood the joy and pain that they were singing about. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 112, 112 Jodeci, Diary of a Mad Band Terrell Journey, The Adventures of Journey McFly 1. Jodeci took music to a new level with this cd. The videos, clothing, & live performances were lit. 2. 112 showed gave R&B a new smoother sound with their harmonies. 3. Journey McFly was my 1st full album it was a manifestation from my childhood. Tell us why you chose this song. “A 90's HeartBreak” A 90's Heartbreak is about my favorite 90's tv series actress & crushes Denise Huxtable Cosby Show & Different World, Gina from Martin & School Daze, and Hillary Banks of Fresh Prince of Bel Air. The Heartbreak happened when each series ended. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing Amateur Night at the Apollo was amazing. Seeing where Micheal Jackson wrote his name on the wall backstage along with other superstars was surreal. Just seeing and knowing that many of the world's most renowned artist was on that stage. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I plan join the Recording Academy. I will write music for some of my favorite artist. It would be super dope to hear them sing songs from a longtime supporter of their music. I hope to work with Babyface one day he is one of the greatest songwriters.
