About Terami Hirsch

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was three years old, a family friend visited and played our unused upright piano. Delighted to hear the songs, I climbed on to the friend's lap, put my tiny hands over his while he played, and pretended I was making the music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Dead Can Dance, Toward the Within (Remastered) Kate Bush, The Dreaming (2018 Remaster) Paul Simon, Graceland (25th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) The Dreaming by Kate Bush launched me into the possibility and madness of experimental pop music. Paul Simon's Graceland will always bring me back home to myself, and Toward the Within by Dead Can Dance enchants me every time. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In 2002 I performed at a RAINN event in Philadelphia, headlined by Happy Rhodes. Opening for Happy was was an incredible honor and I remember collapsing in my hotel room afterwards, sobbing with joy from the overwhelming emotion of the night. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I always have music in me that wants to be expressed. As a recording artist, my bucket list will never be complete, as I chase a never ending stream of emerging music. Maybe someday I will feel like I'm doing enough, but I doubt it.
