About Templeton Pek

Melodic punk trio Templeton Pek formed in Birmingham, England in 2005, developing a hard-edged sound that combined American West Coast punk and soaring alt-rock. Debuting in 2009 with No Association, singer/bassist Neal Mitchell, guitarist/singer Kev Green, and drummer Simon Barford, spent the next two years touring and building their fan base throughout Europe. For their second LP, 2011's Scratches and Scars, they signed with the German arm of California's Long Beach Records and spent the summer supporting Rise Against on their European tour. For their next effort, Signs, the band travelled to New York to record with producer Shep Goodman, releasing the album via Century Media in 2013. They continued to maintain a high profile throughout Europe and the U.K., playing with established punk bands like Pennywise, Bad Religion, and NOFX. Switching to California label Hardline Entertainment, they headed back to the U.S. to record 2015's New Horizons in Hermosa Beach, California. Themes of political and social unrest informed Templeton Pek's fifth album, Watching the World Come Undone, which arrived in early 2018. ~ Timothy Monger
