About SYML

SYML is the solo-artist moniker for American singer-songwriter and pianist Brian Fennell of the Seattle indie-rock band Barcelona. ∙ He started playing piano as a child, wrote his first song at age 18, and earned a music degree at Spokane’s Whitworth University. ∙ In 2016, SYML went viral when “Where’s My Love”—from his debut EP, Hurt for Me—was featured in the TV drama Teen Wolf. ∙ “Where’s My Love” rose into the Top 40 of Billboard’s Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart in 2018. ∙ In 2019, SYML released his self-titled debut album, which featured the alternative hit “Clean Eyes.”
