About SUPER JUNIOR-D&E
After half a decade with K-pop boy band Super Junior, members Donghae and Eunhyuk became the group's fifth subunit, Super Junior-D&E. They debuted in 2011 with the fun-loving party anthem "Oppa, Oppa," which landed on their chart-topping debut EP, 2015's The Beat Goes On. The pair also successfully broke into the Japanese market, issuing their only full-lengths, 2014's Ride Me and 2018's Style. As part of the Super Junior crew, the duo spent the latter half of the 2000s dominating the Korean charts with a string of number one albums and the international smash hit "Sorry, Sorry." Following their individual involvement with prior subgroups Super Junior-T, Super Junior-M, and Super Junior-H, Donghae and Eunhyuk got their own time in the spotlight, forming this fifth subunit in 2011. In addition to "Oppa, Oppa," they also scored hits with 2013's "Still You" and 2015's "Growing Pains." Super Junior-D&E entered the Japanese charts in 2012 with a revamped version of "Oppa, Oppa," which charted at number two. The single was featured on their Japanese debut, Ride Me, which was released in early 2014. They continued promotion in Japan with 2015's Present EP and a string of singles that kept them active on the Oricon charts until the end of the decade. Juggling duties in both Korea and Japan, the duo released their sophomore Japanese LP, Style, and the Korean EP Bout You in 2018. The next year, they issued one of their best-selling sets to date, Danger. ~ Neil Z. Yeung
