California rapper Suigeneris is among the new wave of Gen Z artists taking over trap music. • Born in San Jose, Suigeneris got his stage name from the Latin phrase that means “in a class by itself.” • Suigeneris began his career by uploading music on SoundCloud. One of his first singles, 2017’s “Pull Up,” caught the attention of rapper Landon Cube, who invited Suigeneris to be his opening act on tour. • The rapper is best known for his 2018 breakout single “Now,” featuring fellow trap artist Lil Skies. That same year, Suigeneis released his debut project, The Cheat Code. • In 2020, Suigeneis released the double EP Demons N Angels. He also has a clothing line of the same name.
