I was nine years old with my dad when he took me to one of my first concerts "for educational purposes"; Lynyrd Skynyrd. Strange smells filled the air, and I was connected to and introduced to a sound that would change my life forever. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band, Stranger In Town Chris Stapleton, Starting Over The Black Keys, Brothers Our forthcoming album was also cut at MSSS, I have a bias for that room. 'Starting Over' captures the soul and history of the iconic studio in a perfect and haunting way. We got to use the same piano Bob used on 'Stranger', and 'Brothers', BECAUSE. Tell us why you chose this song. “Stranded” This blues-rock country mud slinger I wrote actually packs a powerful message about the consequences of throwing your life away. Take my advice and learn from my mistakes. I will always look to "Stranded" if I ever think about slipping. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Having the honor of cutting my first forthcoming record at the legendary Muscle Shoals Sound Studio. Spending four days with microphones on, recorded live, no click track, playing Southern Rock & Roll. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Play Madison Square Garden and Red Rocks Amphitheater. Record in RCA Studio A and Electric Ladyland. So many things.
