In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Listening to Simon and Garfunkel's greatest hits, and laughing at the lyrics to If I Could. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Norah Jones, Come Away With Me Pat Metheny Group, The Road to You (Live) Live Tedeschi Trucks Band, Revelator There's so much great music out there, and there is so much that I like, and have been inspired by. I like simple things as much as complex. These albums have great writing and great playing that I relate to. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “New Inspiration” It's tasty and sweet. It's got vibe, with nothing to prove. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The most memorable is getting the gig touring with Ray Charles. It was my first big tour, and first chance to see much of the world. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I love working with other artists as a sideman, so I want to continue doing that. I enjoy playing different types of music. I also hope to perform more with my own group.
