In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my first memories of loving music is when I was about 6 years old and practicing the piano with my mom. Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bright Eyes, LIFTED or the Story Is in the Soil, Keep Your Ear to the Ground Modest Mouse, We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank boygenius, Boygenius - EP I’ve listened to these albums hundreds of times at different points in my life.
