About Something More

A tuneful pop-punk quintet from the East Coast, Something More were formed in 2011 by singer/guitarist Tim Jagielski, guitarist/singer Phil Rasinski, bassist Chad Nunnally, drummer Brian Rasinski, and guitarist Nate Swartz. Growing up together in Bel Air, Maryland -- the same hometown as pop-punk giants All Time Low -- the five friends formally launched their music career with the 2012 EP Too Many Ninjas. At the start of Something More's first tour, the band was robbed and was forced to return home to cobble together new equipment. More determined than ever, they regrouped and hit the road, releasing a second EP, Nap Up, in 2013. Following a 2015 split EP with hometown friends Carry the Banner, Something More signed with Los Angeles-based indie Common Ground Records and made their label debut with 2016's Dogs EP. A slightly longer follow-up EP, Dogs II, arrived in early 2017 and featured a handful of acoustic bonus tracks. ~ Timothy Monger
