Solomon Ray

An AI entity, Solomon Ray is presented as a robust-voiced singer whose specialty is rustic Southern gospel. Ray is the brainchild of Mississippi native Christopher Townsend, aka rapper Topher, who is credited as songwriter. Ray appeared in October 2025 with "Find Your Rest," what became the lead single of Faithful Soul, a five-song set issued in November. A second EP, A Soulful Christmas, followed only a week later, and the "I Got a Song" single arrived shortly after that. Faithful Soul registered on Billboard's Top Gospel Albums chart at number ten, and before the end of the year, four of its five songs entered Hot Gospel Songs and/or Hot Gospel Digital Song Sales, with "Find Your Rest" topping the latter.
