In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest memory of music was listening to Dolly Parton in my grandparents basement, which fostered my love of all art. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Amy Winehouse, Back to Black Cracker, Kerosene Hat I was an addict for 20 years. I've been to hell and back. I identify strongly with the meaning and torment behind these albums. Not only do they portray the torment of addiction, but some of the hope that comes with it. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Twin City Tin Snippers (E)” This song is about my mother and my aunt. Both of these strong women supported me through addiction and into sobriety.
