Sojourn

This US melodic rock quintet was formed in 1983 by Kevin Bullock (vocals, guitar, keyboards) and Doug Robinson (guitar, vocals). Enlisting the services of Kevin Stoker (keyboards), Doug Pectol (bass) and Dane Spencer (drums), they secured a contract with the Mad Cat label in 1985. They debuted with Lookin’ For More, a melodic rock album with rough edges. It incorporated abrasive guitar work within a pomp-rock framework, and drew comparisons with Triumph, Journey and UFO. Different Points Of View consolidated their style, but nothing was heard from them afterwards.
