Siti Nordiana

There have been many incarnations of Siti Nordiana’s brand of pop since her debut at 15. Early on, Nana—as she’s fondly called—highlighted her luscious vocals with sweet Malay pop, but grew into a more global, sensual sound as her career progressed. In 2015, after 15 years in the spotlight, fans dubbed her the “Finesse Queen of Leman” (referring to the slang term for tear-jerking Malay songs) after her appearance on reality show Gegar Vaganza 2. This title suits her perfectly. Today, Nana is unapologetic about doling out emotional pop ballads—she’s the best at it.
