About Shelby Lynne

Eclectic singer Shelby Lynne emerged in Nashville at the start of the '90s as a rare bird. Her work ranged through country, blues, Southern soul, roots rock, Western swing, jazz, and adult contemporary pop. Naturally, that eclecticism made her difficult to market, but once Lynne put all the pieces together, she found herself embraced not by the country mainstream, but by rock critics, worldwide audiences, and the alt-country/Americana crowd for albums across the spectrum. These included teaming with producer Phil Ramone for 2008's Dusty Springfield homage Just a Little Lovin', 2011's roots music set Revelation Road, the all-original outing I Can't Imagine in 2015, and Not Dark Yet, a covers collection with sister Allison Moorer two years later.
