In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was a toddler, I had a little toy guitar that I carried everywhere. No one in my family can recall who got it for me, but it was my favorite toy. It had buttons on the neck that played various riffs when pressed. It was mesmerizing. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bob Dylan, Oh Mercy George Harrison, All Things Must Pass (2014 Remaster) Oasis, (What's the Story) Morning Glory? I picked these 3 albums because they have each had a massive impact on me as a person, as a guitar player, and as a songwriter. They're so good in fact, that they could make even the staunchest atheist feel spiritual. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “There's a Sign” I used to have a daily ritual of free writing. One morning, half awake, I jotted down the lyrics to this song, fully formed. Within days I came up with chords that fit the lyrics perfectly. It felt magical, like the song wrote itself. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of my favorite venues in San Francisco is Cafe Du Nord. The month I released my first single I went to a show there with my now wife. I remember telling her I would love to play there someday. A year later, I did. It was unforgettable.
