Shadows Land

Avant-garde black metal outfit Shadows Land consists of vocalist/guitarist Aro 666, guitarist Raf "Buzzer", bassist Paul, and drummer J. Nerexo, who bring rampant, risk-taking inventiveness to the style's core attributes of speed and aggression. Formed in Poland circa 1995, Shadows Land issued two demos, 1997's "Epitaph" and 1999's "Smell of Pain," before signing with France's Osmose Productions and unleashing their ambitiously head-spinning debut album Ante Christum (Natum) in early 2004. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
