About Shadow Person

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a 9 year old I peered into my neighbor's basement window to watch his rock band practice. From that moment onward, I knew what I wanted to do. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? CAKE, Comfort Eagle Dinosaur Jr., You're Living All Over Me (Remastered) The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Axis: Bold As Love Great albums from beginning to end. It's rare when every song on an album holds its own, especially when it's all groundbreaking and boundary-pushing, but these albums cover that. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Smackeroo” This was the first song I did where I recorded two separate drum parts. I played them each on different drum kits, too, and you can hear the difference as the drums play off each other in each of the breakdowns in this song. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I have shared the stage with some aweseome bands over the years, including Fugazi, Bikini Kill, L7, Jesus Lizard, Sebadoh, and Slint. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Making enough money to quit my day job would be the dream, right? Instead of releasing an album a year on my own, perhaps getting picked up by a label. Now that I think about it, collaborating with others would be pretty cool too.
