About Serge Devant

DJ/producer Serge Devant recalls a time when artists like the Prodigy, Underworld, and Carl Cox ruled dancefloors. The Russian native was living in New York City during the 1990s, hanging out at the legendary Twilo club, and deciding that DJing was his future. In 2006, after gigs at the city's Tunnel club, Devant became the resident DJ at Crobar. His debut single, "Part of Me," followed a year later, while 2008 saw a world-wide hit when he released his cover of the Beloved's "blue room" classic "Sweet Harmony." In 2009, "Addicted" would become the first hit off his debut album Wanderer. Two years later, he filled dancefloors once again with his remake of the KLF's "3A.M. Eternal," featuring vocalist Taleen. ~ David Jeffries
